New Mexico provider enlists MEDai analytics tools

Lovelace Health Plan in Albuquerque, N.M., has purchased MEDai Risk Navigator tools to assist outcomes through predictive analytics.

Lovelace will use Risk Navigator Clinical, Risk Navigator Performance and Risk Navigator Financial, according to the Orlando, Fla.-based MEDai.

Risk Navigator Clinical applies evidence-based clinical rule sets to claims, membership and other data to identify high-risk members. Lovelace will utilize Risk Navigator Clinical to assess population risk and member disease management, MEDai stated. Risk Navigator Clinical also gives clinicians access to member history as well as regulatory compliance information.

Lovelace is also using Risk Navigator Performance, which provides retrospective and prospective profiling of providers and facilities, and compares provider and facility performance against national and regional benchmarks; and Risk Navigator Financial, which supports actuarial and underwriting analysis and reporting, the company added.
