Norwegian hospitals select Sectra

Hospitals in the Helse Nord region of Norway have signed a four-year agreement with Sectra.

Under the agreement, Sectra will deliver its technology for the management of RIS/PACS and orthopedic planning. The software will be integrated with other IT systems at the hospitals.

Using Sectra’s system, the hospitals in Helse Nord will consolidate the radiology operations at 11 hospitals into one operation. The installation of Sectra’s software will enhance the efficiency of the operational processes that are related to the radiology departments and increase access to radiology images and patient information throughout the region, according to the Linköping, Sweden-based developer of IT systems and products for radiology, mammography and orthopedics.
