NovaRad wins PACS install

NovaRad has inked a three-year contract with Ferry County Memorial Hospital of Republic, Wash., for NovaPACS.

NovaPACS will enable radiologists at the 25-bed facility to increase reading efficiency on site and also allow secure access to the images from remote locations, such as home or on the road.

All NovaPACS systems are open and scalable, running Windows software and housed on off-the-shelf hardware, said NovaRad. In addition, all products are broker less so that information can be seamlessly transferred from a hospital's information systems to the PACS.
