Palmetto Health taps Agfa for PACS

Palmetto Health of South Carolina has installed Agfa HealthCare’s latest version of the Impax PACS.

Impax 6.5 is an integrated RIS/PACS workflow system with automated task management applications and an integrated nuclear medicine processing platform, according to Mortsel, Belgium-based Agfa.

Agfa said a major focus of the latest version of the Impax PACS was women’s care, with the new system providing a vendor neutral, multi-modality review state for breast imaging that is in compliance with the IHE Mammography Image Profile.
