Philips Panorama 1.0T MRI goes to Cologne

The University of Cologne's medical center located in Germany announced last week the first European installation of the Philips Panorama 1.0T open MRI system. This is only the second installation of the system in the world thus far.

The Philips Panorama 1.0T features an open design and a 160 cm wide opening for imaging any and all patients. The system also features a unique vertical field design with a signal-to-noise performance similar to a 1.5T cylindrical magnet.
