Philips scores Brilliance iCT install in Vermont

Philips Healthcare has placed its Brilliance iCT 256-slice system at Fletcher Allen Health Care, University of Vermont College of Medicine in Burlington, Vt.

"We see image quality benefits in complex procedures like brain perfusion and neuro CTA as well as routine body imaging, bariatric and CCTA [cardiac CT angiography]," said George Ebert, MD, PhD, director of CT at Fletcher Allen.

Fletcher Allen is an academic medic center, founded in 1995, through the integration of Fanny Allen Hospital, Medical Center Hospital of Vermont and University Health Center. The organization provides care at more than 35 patient care sites and 100 outreach clinics in Vermont and upstate New York, and services 562 licensed beds.
