Portuguese clinic installs UltraSPECT Xpress.cardiac

UltraSPECT LTD. has completed the first European installation of its Xpress.cardiac package in the Atomedical clinic in Lisbon, Portugal. Xpress.cardiac is based on the company's patented Wide Beam Reconstruction (WBR), and provides the clinic with increased patient throughput by enabling up to 50 percent shorter scan times of myocardial perfusion SPECT compared to current typical protocol, without compromising image quality, the company said.
