By enrolling in the executive MBA program at the Jack Welch Management Institute, RLI participants will be given access to Jack Welch through live video conferences and exclusive video messages. In addition, students will gain:

  • A rigorous and immediately actionable curriculum that delivers results to their organization
  • Proven leadership lessons and winning management practices from Jack Welch
  • The convenience of a flexible, interactive, online format designed to bring professionals together
  • A degree from an institution accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, which also accredits many of the country’s Ivy League schools

“Having played an integral role in developing General Electric’s long-lasting relationship with the radiology profession, I know how important radiology is to the future of health care in America,” said Jack Welch, founder of the Jack Welch Management Institute. “As the business of medicine becomes more complex, radiology professionals need the skills to confront the management and leadership challenges that will affect the future of radiology for years to come. The Jack Welch Management Institute executive MBA program — built on the battle-tested practices that I developed at GE — will help radiology professionals put winning principles to work in their organizations.”

RLI participants are able to satisfy a portion of their RLI credit requirements while pursuing an MBA with the Jack Welch Management Institute. RLI credits will be earned for the following JWMI courses: Business Communications; Leadership in the 21st Century; and Marketing in a Global Environment. RLI participants will receive a discount off the cost of these individual courses as well as all other required MBA courses.

“In order to play a meaningful role in shaping the future of health care, it is critical for radiologists to obtain the leadership and business skills necessary to stay at the forefront of the most important issues in health care. Having the opportunity to learn from Jack Welch — one of the most successful CEOs of all time — is a distinct advantage for those individuals who want to advance their careers and strengthen the radiology profession. The RLI is proud to partner with the Jack Welch Management Institute to offer radiology professionals this unique opportunity,” said Cynthia S. Sherry, MD, FACR, medical director of the Radiology Leadership Institute and chair of the American College of Radiology Commission on Leadership and Practice Development.
