What’s the word at RSNA 2013 – Day 2

CHICAGO—RSNA is a chance for those in the radiology community to meet, swap stories and share information about the latest developments in imaging. In that spirit, Health Imaging will be talking to people at the meeting each day and asking them each one question. We’ll share a few responses each day, so be sure to keep an eye out for them in our newsletter or check the RSNA section of our website.

Today’s question:

The conference’s theme this year is “The Power of Partnership.” Why is this an important theme for RSNA?

The theme is important because there’s going to be more and more teamwork needed in the field of radiology.”

In a true partnership, everyone’s working in a very congruous relationship so that the overall outcome for everyone involved will be vastly improved.”

The newly cleared offering, AutoChamber, was designed with opportunistic screening in mind. It can evaluate many different kinds of CT images, including those originally gathered to screen patients for lung cancer.
