The Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) has picked an editor of its new online RSNA Case Collection—an online repository designed to improve diagnostic radiology outcomes.
Mariam Moshiri, MD, will lead the new publication: a “point-of-care tool” set to launch in spring 2020, according to an RSNA statement. Moshiri is currently a professor at the University of Washington School of Medicine and a radiologist at its medical center in Seattle.
“I am honored and excited to be named the editor of the RSNA Case Collection, a key initiative to create a comprehensive online resource of clinical cases for the practicing radiologists,” Moshiri said in the statement. “I look forward to serving RSNA in my capacity as the editor and collaborating with its members to ensure success of the Case Collection.”
Case Collection is a “first-of-its-kind” product created by experts across the radiology community. RSNA will begin accepting cases in January. Accepted submissions will be peer-reviewed and available online, organized by subspecialty. It will also house an educational self-quiz feature for radiologists.
