Sectra delivers PACS to University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences

Sectra and its partner Southeast Imaging, headquartered out of Little Rock, Ark., will provide Sectra PACS to the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). Sectra will deliver all PACS software to UAMS and Southeast Imaging will provide implementation and support services.

The UAMS radiology department performs approximately 200,000 radiological examinations annually and has been digital since 1998. The new Sectra system will be integrated with existing UAMS information systems and be installed during the latter part of 2005.

Sectra PACS will be integrated with existing UAMS information systems resulting in digital management of all orders, images and results. This creates a secure workflow.
