Shina Systems inks Lion City contract

Lion City Radiology in Singapore has entered into a multi-user 3Di software licensing contract with Shina Systems, a developer of cardiovascular imaging and analysis software tools.

Shina said its 3Di software offers a suite of applications that allow 3D viewing of images, CT coronary segmentation and reconstructions, coronary angiogram comparison with CT images and virtual endoscopy.

The 3Di software will allow Lion City to compete in the advanced visualization subspecialist teleradiology market, according to the Caesara, Israel-based company.

The agreement with Shina came after a period of testing with Lion City's distributed teleradiology network. The 3Di software has been integrated with Lion City's existing Web-based PACS in hospitals, as well as its remote radiologist workstations, Shina said.
