Southern German hospital group rolls out Agfa?s Orbis

Three acute care clinics from the Märkische Kliniken hospital group in southern Germany have integrated their medical, nursing and administrative IT processes following the installation of Agfa HealthCare’s Orbis in early 2008.

The roll-out of Orbis across the group will provide fast and complete access to patients' histories, including all images and data, according to Agfa.

Multi-site implementation of the systems should be completed in the second half of 2008, the hospital group said.
