Texas health system inks enterprise app deal with Lawson
Technology provider Lawson Software has signed a contract with Cook Children’s Healthcare System under which Lawson will provide multiple enterprise applications.
Applications included in the contract include Lawson Human Resource Management, Supply Chain Management, Mobile Supply Chain Management, Strategic Sourcing and Contract Management, Lawson Business Intelligence, Learning Accelerator, and ProcessFlow Integrator, the St. Paul, Minn.-based Lawson stated. The contract was signed during Lawson’s second quarter of fiscal 2010, which ended Nov. 30, 2009.
Based in Fort Worth, Texas, Cook Children’s Healthcare System has added more than $100 million in new facilities during the past decade to better serve children in North Texas, Lawson stated.
Cook Children’s chose the Lawson business applications to help improve key business processes including the receiving, delivery and management of supply inventory by automating the collection of supply usage data, the company said. In addition, Cook Children’s will use Lawson Human Resource Management to help streamline core human resources activities, Lawson stated.
