TriZetto to release auto authorization portal

TriZetto Group plans to release the CareAdvance Provider automated authorization portal for healthcare practitioners, part of TriZetto’s CareAdvance Enterprise.

CareAdvance Provider is an automated portal through which health insurance companies and health care providers can directly share information, the company said.

CareAdvance Provider automates health practitioners’ authorization requests by responding to requests for different procedures and care with a list of questions. The health practitioner’s responses are automatically reviewed by the computer and either approved, rejected or filed for further assessment. The Greenwood Village, Colo.-based Trizetta plans to release CareAdvance Provider in December.
