Xograph nets mobile C-Arm order for British hospital
Xograph Healthcare, a supplier of medical equipment in the United Kingdom and Ireland, has delivered a Ziehm Vision mobile C-Arm image intensifier to the Hampshire Clinic in Basingstoke, England, which is part of BMI Healthcare.
The Gloucestershire, England-based company said its Ziehm Vision is a mobile C-Arm system for complex orthopedic procedures, such as spinal surgery, as well as vascular and interventional imaging.
Ziehm's Advanced Active Cooling system, standard on all Ziehm Vision models, allows almost limitless fluoroscopy time without overheating or enforced cooling delays during long procedures, the company said. Another feature of the system is Object Detected Dose Control, which optimizes image quality, even for small, off-centered anatomy, while the pulsed generator output reduces radiation burden, according to Xograph.
The 65-bed Hampshire Clinic has four operating rooms and an outpatient theater.
