ACC certifies LUMEDX as first NCDR software vendor

The American College of Cardiology (ACC) has certified LUMEDX, a provider integrated cardiovascular imaging and information systems, as the first ACC-National Cardiology Data Registry (NCDR) CARE Registry software vendor.

The Oakland, Calif.-based LUMEDX said its Export to CARE Registry solution is a suite of software applications developed to address the need for accessible vascular data, clinical workflows, and data management.

The new ACC-NCDR CARE Registry collects data for carotid artery revascularization and endarterectomy procedures, and meets Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services data collection requirements for carotid stenting.

LUMEDX said its Export to CARE Registry software enables data capture and submission by helping hospitals automate the processes, allowing enables hospitals to: capture data at the point of care; submit automatically to the ACC; track additional data elements; run reports internally; review program performance; and take an active role in improving outcomes.
