AccuSoft purchases Khoral's scientific computing software

Imaging technology provider AccuSoft Corp. has acquired Khoral Inc.'s KhorosPro product line for commercial and government applications, as well as academic and research environments.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

KhorosPro scientific computing software package is designed to enable complex data and image analysis for users of all skill levels. KhorosPro also is capable of handling five-dimensional (5D) data.

The acquisition of the KhorosPro allows AccuSoft to expand into additional markets and application areas and serve as the foundation for future product introductions through Khoral's VisiQuest.

AccuSoft technology is incorporated into applications from customers, such as GE Healthcare.
