Agfa and Novation ink DR deal

Agfa HealthCare has been awarded a new three-year contract with Novation, a healthcare supply contracting company based in Irving, Texas, to provide DR systems to more than 30,000 VHA, UHC and Provista member organizations in the U.S.

Greenville, S.C.-based Agfa HealthCare said the contract includes the DX-D 500n overhead tube crane digital x-ray room, the DX-D 300 digital U-arm and the DX-D 100 digital mobile x-ray system.

The contract became effective Sept. 1 and is the latest is a series of agreements between the two companies dating back to 2006. Agfa HealthCare also has PACS and CR contracts with Novation.
