Agfa, TomTec align for echo enhancements in EU

Medical imaging software provider TomTec has partnered with Agfa HealthCare for echocardiography image analysis tools, as well as reporting and data management tools for the European market.

Under the terms of Agfa and TomTec’s agreement, Agfa’s Impax Cardiovascular PACS will be integrated with TomTec’s Image-Arena, offering measurement functionality and 3D and 4D processing tools for cardiac and vascular ultrasound examinations for offline analyses, said the Mortsel, Belgium-based Agfa. The technology will be available in Europe.
