Hologic partners with InSiteOne and Mammography Reporting System

Hologic Inc. has signed a definitive distribution agreement with InSiteOne and a sales pact with Mammography Reporting System Inc.

The InSite One contract gives Hologic non-exclusive distribution rights in the United States for InSiteOne's image management service, InDex (Internet DICOM Express).

Described as a pay-as-you-go, price per study service, InDex includes both online, nearline and disaster recovery/business continuance image storage and access. InDex integrates with PACS (picture archiving and communications systems) or directly with DICOM-compliant digital modalities, as well as hospital networks and information systems.

Hologic's pact with Mammography Reporting System (MRS), the Seattle-based provider of computerized systems for breast-imaging information, will be a cooperative alliance to offer MRS products to healthcare facilities currently using or purchasing Hologic's line of screen-film and digital mammography systems.
