Industry News: Intelerad gets Deloitte nod; Varian exhibiting at ESTRO

Intelerad has been named to Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50, the annual program that recognizes innovative and quickly growing Canadian technology companies. Rankings are based on percentage growth in fiscal year revenues over five years, from 2001 to 2005.

Varian Medical Systems is exhibiting its latest treatment technology at the 2006 European Society of Therapeutic Radiation Oncologists (ESTRO) meeting in Leipzig, Germany, through Oct. 11. The comprehensive ARIA oncology information and image management system, already in clinical use at a number of centers in the United States and Europe, is being demonstrated. This system unifies all administrative, clinical, and financial information for cancer care professionals. ARIA also is designed to work in concert with the company’s Eclipse treatment planning system.
