Orthocrat partners to bring ortho tools to Fuji, ScImage, Ramsoft systems

Orthocrat Ltd. has inked agreements with FUJIFILM Medical Systems USA, ScImage, and Ramsoft for the distribution of its TraumaCad digital orthopedic system with certain systems from each vendor.

TraumaCad is a full-featured digital orthopedic surgical planning and templating system that enables precise manipulation of soft-copy medical images and application of fixation and prosthetic systems. As a result of the Fuji agreement, Synapse users will be able to access TraumaCad through a custom-developed Fuji drag-and-drop interface for comprehensive orthopedic workflow.

The fully integrated Fuji-Orthocrat system is accessed through a single point of entry, with Synapse providing authentications for both systems. Once logged in, doctors access patient images through the PACS and drag and drop them into the TraumaCad workspace to use the application.

In partnering with ScImage, Orthocrat will distribution TraumaCad with ScImage’s medical image and information applications. ScImage said it picked Orthocrat for orthopedic workflow because it wanted to offer a comprehensive surgical planning application with standards-based, open architecture to streamline integration with its enterprise-wide image management software.

In another agreement, RamSoft will distribute Orthocrat’s digital orthopedic surgical planning and templating solution TraumaCad as part of its advanced PACS.
