AIM secures Florida BCBS deal

Radiology benefit management and technology firm American Imaging Management (AIM) has been selected by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida (BCBSF), to deliver imaging network information and services through AIM's OptiNet program. OptiNet is a set of network management tools offered by AIM to promote quality and affordability within diagnostic imaging.

Through the web-based OptiNet, health plans are provided the capability to collect, store and monitor quality indicators of diagnostic imaging providers, according to the Deerfield, Ill.-based AIM.

BCBSF and its subsidiaries serve more than 8.7 million people, AIM said.
