ContextVision strengthens its interventional radiology focus

ContextVision has appointed Donald Barry, PhD, as product manager for its x-ray division, to focus on the launch of ContextVision’s interventional radiology product, expected to be released at the 2008 Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) meeting in November.

Barry brings almost 30 years of global medical imaging experience to ContextVision, according to Jan Erik Hedborg, ContextVision CEO. He has held management positions in several medical imaging companies in the United States: general manager for Picker x-ray division, vice president of business development at Terason (ultrasound), and several positions at Analogic, including group vice president. Barry will be based in ContextVision’s U.S. headquarters in Boston.
