Nuance nets seven orders in N.Y. region

Nuance Communications, a supplier of speech solutions, has received several new orders in the New York metropolitan area.

The Burlington, Mass.-based Nuance said its following healthcare solutions have been selected:
  • Speech-enabled clinical documentation;
  • Medical imaging exam decision support tools;
  • Critical test results management; and
  • Clinical Business Intelligence.
The company said its new customers include: Flushing Hospital Medical Center in Flushing, N.Y.; Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in Jamaica, N.Y.; New York University Medical Center in New York City; Phelps Memorial Hospital Center in Sleepy Hollow, N.Y.; Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City; Stony Brook Medical Center in Stony Brook, N.Y.; and University Radiology Group in Somerset, N.J.
