ScImage (Booth 4013) is demonstrating at RSNA newly added cardiology imaging capabilities which include: structured reporting for echocardiography and vascular procedures, a clinical information database, voice recognition-enhanced reporting, DICOM Modality Worklist Driven ECG Management and automatic pre-fetch of cardiac CT and thoracic CR/DR exams stored on its multi-departmental PACS.
The new reporting module for echocardiography—PICOM Structured Reportware (PicomSR)—combines structured reporting along with voice recognition to deliver a pre-populated report into which the technologist can import elements such as procedure descriptions, indications, measurements, observations during procedure and simple findings from the modality. The physician can finish the report by adding his or her non-structured conclusions at the end of the report via built-in voice recognition.
Additionally, the company is promoting PicomCIM, a clinical database that gathers measurement and demographic data from multiple modalities for statistical reporting and accreditation purposes.
