SIIM goes live with new online career center

The Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) has launched its interactive job board, the SIIM Career Center.

With its focus on the medical imaging informatics industry, the SIIM Career Center is a recruitment resource for PACS administrators and other imaging informatics professionals.

Anna Marie Mason, SIIM executive director, said that both members and non-members can use the SIIM Career Center to reach qualified candidates. Employers can post jobs online, search for qualified candidates based on specific job criteria and create an online resume agent to email qualified candidates daily.

For job seekers, the free online service provides access to employers and jobs in the medical imaging informatics industry. In addition to posting their resumes, job seekers can browse and view available jobs based on their criteria and save those jobs for later review if they choose. Job seekers can also create a search agent to provide email notifications of jobs that match their criteria.

The career center also provides access to the National Healthcare Career Network (NHCN), a group of more than 60 top healthcare associations and professional organizations, including the American Hospital Association, the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Association of American Medical Colleges, according to SIIM.
