German hospital orders PACS, 13 CR systems from Carestream

Carestream Health has signed a PACS and CR contract with Diakonische Dienste Hannover and the Röntgenpraxis am Marstall X-ray Clinic in Germany.

Diakonische Dienste Hanover is a German welfare institution that includes the Annastift, Friederikenstift and Henriettenstiftung Hospitals representing a total of 1,026 hospital beds, according to Carestream.

The agreement for a PACS has also been supplemented with an order for 13 CR systems from Carestream. Once installation is complete, the PACS will manage approximately 250,000 annual x-ray images captured from a variety of modalities in the Diakonie hospitals Friederikenstift and Henriettenstiftung, and in the Röntgenpraxis am Marstall X-ray clinic, the company said.
