Sectra to launch Visualization Table at AAOS

Sectra will feature its new Orthopaedic PACS, which includes a pre-operative planning system, and its Visualization Table, Feb. 15 through 19 at the annual meeting of the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) in San Diego.

The Linköping, Sweden-based company described several new components of its PACS, including automatic synchronization when planning knee cases in both AP and LAT views and a new calibration unit for the hip, knee and shoulder. The Visualization Tables comprises a multi-touch screen enabling roundtable collaboration on large-size 3D MR and CT images.

Sectra, which develops IT systems and products for radiology, mammography and orthopedic departments, also said the Visualization Table can be used for education and clinical conferences.
