Amerinet to make available Varian's oncology systems to members

Varian Medical Systems Inc. and Amerinet Inc. have renewed an agreement to supply Amerinet members with systems for treating cancer with radiotherapy.

 Varian will make available to the St. Louis, Mo.-based group purchasing organization its full range of products, including its Clinac EX Platinum liner accelerator, Acuity treatment simulators, SmartBeam IMRT (intensity modulated radiation therapy) and multi-leaf collimators. Varian's products include software for planning treatment and managing patient information, brachytherapy systems and medical imaging systems.
