Amicas and Heartlab bridge cardiology and radiology PACS
Radiology PACS/RIS provider Amicas Inc. and cardiology PACS provider Heartlab Inc. have inked a co-marketing agreement to deliver imaging and information management systems which integrate access to both cardiology and radiology diagnostic images and reports.
Through Amicas RealTime Worklist, users will have access to both the Amicas Vision Series PACS and Heartlab Encompass cardiology PACS. Without the need for any user query, Amicas RealTime Worklist will provide lists, by color-coded status, all of the available radiology and cardiology studies for a given patient with visibility across a virtual archive, the companies said.
From a single click within Amicas RealTime Worklist, the user may then launch the Heartlab Encompass or Amicas' Vision viewer to gain access to the needed manipulation tools appropriate for the specific study type.
