AMS debuts three new software products

American Medical Sales (AMS) has released three new software-only workstation products, in response to requests from its customers’ referring physicians to use the same viewing software as their imaging groups.

Customers can download an affordable DICOM viewer from the web to address their need for additional viewing stations, according to the Los Angeles-based AMS.

The CAT-Clinical is designed for patient conferences and quality control review; CAT-PRO addresses the needs of most medical professionals with an advanced set of imaging tools; and CAT-Elite adds additional special purpose tools for radiologists and other imaging specialists, explained Daniel J. Giesberg, president of AMS.

All three products have the "look and feel" of the AMS PACS workstation software, which makes supporting new users easy for both AMS distributors and their customers.
