Array has geared DICOM Scan Pro Plus software for mammography

The DICOM Scan Pro Plus software upgrade from Array Corporation USA now offers DICOM conformance for mammography by meeting the requirements for hanging protocols and DICOM tags, when viewed on diagnostic work stations that support the mammography standard.

DICOM Scan Pro Plus provides Image Orientation tools allow orientation of scanned images to be produced at the point of digitization which simplifies the process and increasing productivity in client PACS.

Another highlighted capability of the upgraded software is its Masking feature which improves patient security and increased control over how images are stored and distributed. Masking allows users to cover information such as patient demographics so that scanned images can be presented for patient privacy and to meet HIPPA requirements.
