ASRT launches virtual professional network
The American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) has created a nationwide knowledge-sharing domain called the ASRT Communities.
ASRT Communities is a professional network of 19 communities designed to connect medical imaging professionals, radiation therapists and students to help them learn about different radiologic science disciplines and interact with fellow RTs and students.
Each community features a discussion board managed by an ASRT moderator and members will have access informational links about professional practice standards and continuing education requirements.
ASRT members who visit the communities by Dec. 16 can enter the Birds of a Feather Drawing for a chance to win a trip to the 2012 ASRT Educational Symposium and Annual Governance and House of Delegates Meeting in Las Vegas or the 2012 ASRT Radiation Therapy Conference in Boston.
