Barco (Booth 4655) is promoting the upgraded version of its Nio Color 3 megapixel (MP) display system, featuring a high-bright LCD panel. The Nio Color 3MP comes with a new, built-in system for uniformity correction, as well as backlight stabilization. Also, the monitor's LCD technology is protected against damage by means of a protective front cover. The non-reflective cover improves the image contrast, and keeps reflections low, the company said.

Like the other Barco diagnostic displays, Nio Color 3MP comes standard with a five-year warranty. In addition, it is supplied with Barco's MediCal QAWeb tool for DICOM calibration, quality assurance (QA) and asset management. The free ‘Essential' level allows a user to change QA policies (e.g. white luminance) through a remote calibration. When opting for the ‘Premium' level, remote capabilities further include remote QA, extended notifications and reports, Barco said.
