Cedara inks software supply agreement with Hitachi Medical

Software provider Cedara Software Corp. has signed an agreement with Hitachi Medical Corp. to supply certain of Cedara's medical imaging technologies and services to Hitachi.

Cedara estimates the value of the contract at approximately $4.25 million.

The Hitachi pact comes in the wake of two software supply agreements Cedara signed with Siemens Medical Solutions and Aloka Co. Ltd. in March.

The company estimated those two contracts were worth a total of approximately $6 million.

Due to confidentiality agreements with its customers, Cedara cannot disclose specifically which products Hitachi, Siemens and Aloka will purchase.
