ClearCanvas, Oso Healthcare team for open-source RIS/PACS

Health IT application developer ClearCanvas has partnered with Oso Healthcare to improve its open-source RIS/PACS support services.

Under the terms of the agreement, OsoCare will offer remote customer support to more than 5,000 ClearCanvas global users and provide access to eLearning training modules and online forums, the companies said.

In addition, the Toronto-based Oso will replace annual software installation licensing fees and service contracts with a pay-as-you-go remote support structure.
