Medical informatics firm CompuMed has released a new iteration of its bone-density measurement application, OsteoGram 1.36. The latest version of the software features enhanced PACS and DICOM capabilities, according to the Los Angeles-based company.

Now shipping, OsteoGram 1.36 includes the capability to send images to PACS directly from the OsteoGram report module, as well as the capability to query and retrieve images from a PACS directly.

CompuMed also announced that American Medical Sales (AMS), a PACS/DICOM system integrator, is now offering and installing OsteoGram throughout its customer base.
