Corventis nets CE Mark for mobile patient management system

Corventis, a developer of wireless cardiovascular solutions, has a received a CE mark for its Avivo mobile patient management system.

The San Jose, Calif.-based company said its noninvasive, wireless system is intended to evaluate physiological changes and monitor signs of cardiac irregularities in patients away from the hospital. The Avivo mobile patient management system provides insight into the cardiac health status of patients, such as those suffering from heart failure, by combining the PiiX wearable sensor with computational algorithms, wireless capabilities and a Web-based infrastructure.
