Covidien’s Surgical Devices business unit has launched the Endo Clip III, a 5 millimeter endoscopic clip applier, in the United States, Japan and Europe.

The new 5mm clip applier includes the company’s Clip Logic Technology, which is designed to meet the challenge of clip loading and feeding in a new manner, Covidien said.

The Endo Clip III also features greater clip size, slip resistant grips, and increased shaft length as well as a digital clip counter that displays the precise number of remaining clips in an easy to read, illuminated digital format.
