Dallas childrens hospital deploys Carestream DR

Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in Dallas has installed a Carestream DRX-Evolution DR system.

The cesium iodide-based Carestream DRX-1C wireless DR detector accommodates pediatric, orthopedic, trauma and other specialty environments in addition to general x-ray exams and delivers long-length exams.

The detector can be used in the wall stand or table, and then moved to perform tabletop extremity exams and complex orthopedic exams, according to Rochester, N.Y.-based Carestream.
