Eaton completes purchase of Powerware Corp.

Industrial manufacturer Eaton Corp. this week completed its purchase of Powerware Corp., the power systems business of Invensys PLC.

The $560 million transaction was announced April 27. Additional terms of the agreement were not released.

Powerware, based in Raleigh, N.C., is a global provider of uninterruptible power systems (UPS), DC Power products and power quality services.
