Emageon, IBM offer financing options

Emageon Inc. and IBM Inc. solidified an agreement allowing Emageon's customers to take advantage of IBM Global Financing (IGF) offerings.

According to Emageon, its customers will now be able to finance all Emageon products and services using a single-source agreement with favorable financing terms.

"Emageon and IGF can arrange the financing of all necessary hardware, software and modalities, such as computed and digital radiology devices," said Randy Pittman, Emageon's CFO. "Finding one source to finance a comprehensive system means medical facilities can implement new systems faster and take advantage of reduced operating expenses, improved service to referring physicians and resulting enhanced patient care."
