FDA clears Neusoft 16-slice CT scanner

Neusoft Medical Systems has reported that its NeuViz 16-slice CT scanner was approved by the FDA.

The NeuViz CT scanner is designed with an integrated detector for optimized signal-to-noise ratio and scanning time, and its patented focal spot technology ensures a high spatial resolution during scanning to create more detailed 3D and multiplanar reformation images, according to the Shenyang, China-based company. The device also features the firm's DoseRight Modulation as well as a pediatric protocol.
