FDA clears Planmed mammography system
The FDA has issued a 510(k) approval letter for the Planmed Nuance Excell full-field digital mammography system.
Planmed, an imaging equipment manufacturer based in Helsinki, Finland, said the system is intended for both screening and diagnostic mammography.
The system includes Planmed’s MaxView Breast Positioning System and Side Access patient positioning.
