Frankford Hospitals takes Eclipsys' Sunrise Clinical Manager

Frankford Hospitals has activated Eclipsys Corp.'s Sunrise Clinical Manager software technology at its Torresdale, Frankford and Bucks County campuses in Pennsylvania.

The Sunrise Clinical Manager modules installed at the three campuses include Eclipsys' computerized physician order entry (CPOE), Knowledge-Based Orders, Clinical Documentation and Medication Administration Record (MAR). Frankford has also interfaced Sunrise Clinical Manager with its existing laboratory, radiology and cardiology solutions.

With the activation of Sunrise Clinical Manager at all three hospitals, clinicians have immediate, secure access to patient information and medical content to aid them in their clinical decision-making.

Frankford has used the legacy Eclipsys 7000 series clinical information system for more than 20 years. Sunrise Clinical Manager is hosted remotely from Eclipsys' Technology Solutions Center located in Mountain Lakes, N.J.
