GE unveils two ultrasound systems for women's health market
GE Healthcare is launching two new ultrasound systems targeted toward the women's healthcare market—the Voluson E6 and Logiq P3—at the 57th annual meeting of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), being held this week in Chicago.
The Voluson E6 is the entry-level system to the E-Series Voluson platform, and is designed for obstetric and gynecological clinical applications, the company said. Designed for the everyday user, changes in automation for the fetal heart, a scan assistant for quality assurance and improved workflow, and new transducer technology are some of the features in this exciting new product introduction.
The Logiq P3 is a compact, console ultrasound system that can help clinicians deliver imaging to OB/GYN practices. GE said it has migrated features sets as CrossXBeam from more advanced Logiq systems, which enables the Logiq P3. The Logiq P3 feature set is suited for OB applications and compatible with other Logiq obstetric transducers.
