Health Canada approves weight-bearing CT system

CurveBeam has received approval in Canada to sell and market pedCAT, a weight-bearing cone bone CT system for foot and ankle imaging.

The pedCAT system can image one or both feet in weight-bearing position and create 3D reconstructions of the bony anatomy, according to Warrington, Pa.-based CurveBeam.

The pedCAT has been available for sale in the U.S. since April 2012. CurveBeam also recently announced the pedCAT is available for sale in Europe.
