IDX features revenue cycle systems at HFMA

IDX Systems Corp. this week showcased its next generation revenue cycle systems for hospitals and physician organizations at the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) Annual National Institute and Idea Exchange from June 27 - July 1, in Nashville, Tenn.

IDX Flowcast, Groupcast and Carecast systems are designed to increase cash flow by automating key business processes as well as enhance productivity with advanced workflow tools.

Flowcast is an information technology (IT) system for large physician organizations, hospitals and integrated delivery networks (IDNs). Flowcast offers financial and administrative capabilities to improve revenue cycle management.

Groupcast provides patient management, financial management, and decision support services for group medical practices and physician service organizations. Groupcast with pre-built integration to IDX eCommerce allows group practices to more effectively manage electronic claims and collect more money in less time.

Carecast is an enterprise-wide, fully integrated clinical, financial and administrative system. Carecast automatically captures charges generated by clinical events and supports a clinically-automated revenue cycle. Carecast also provides an 837 billing application, enabling organizations to submit HIPAA-compliant (Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act) 837 claims directly to payers.
